Christmas Time is here

I have had a recent wonderful experience, I was preparing for Christmas with Kristina and we set up her Christmas tree! I had not set up a tree and laughed and taken in the spirit of the moment in years, we sat back after we were finished and truly enjoyed our accomplishment, the room was lit in the glow of nearly 1,500 lights! a feat for the size of the tree. and it was just a wonderful moment, the room was laced in the shades of red and gold, blazing white lights and the bow from which neither of us could make look awesome ha! it was just a reminder of how blessed I am this season to have so many wonderful things in my life. and people to care about as well I hope you enjoy the pictures of our tree fellow readers!

Whats in a year?

I recently took a hike with the greatest woman I know Kristina, at High-banks park we walked in the snow and got the "cold high" you may be asking yourself what that may be? it is where the cold wind enters your lungs and re-invigorates your soul and time doesn't matter. as we were walking through the woods I found myself just happy and open to what nature had to bless me with, I sometimes question the power of nature and its surroundings, but all in all I am blessed. Thus leading me to this title point, one year ago I moved to Columbus and I have been shown what can come of a year. I learned I am still a good enough actor to perform, I lost somethings dear to me, I learned to let go, I learned that the things I thought I had lost didn't matter because it found me again,  I started my career and now I am a year stronger and  wiser and prepared for what is to come. and I am not alone :) so loyal readers I hope you enjoy these pictures from my hike, and maybe you can see the truly blessed feeling of nature around us.

The end, Is just a new Beginning

I was seven years old when I saw my first musical Fiddler on The Roof! too this day it remains my favorite show, I hope someday to be in it. Its what sparked this love of Theater in my life! and this weekend I had to say goodbye to a show I had fallen in love with, with an amazing cast of people.....no Friends.....no Best friends! The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, at Emerald City theater. it was an eye opening experience I have never consider myself a singer, or Vocalist or (insert other adjective) but I loved this show too much not too go for it. I played the one and only William Morris Barfee'

It was such a Challenge, but I stood proud and took my place amongst the elite! I am posting this today to remind myself of were I have been, and were I shall go! Emerald City is closing for a bit a necessary Hiatus. and it didn't hit me until the final bow. I moved to Columbus in December of last year, and on December 11th I will have lived there for one whole year. the very first thing I did when I moved was audition for Sherlock Holmes at ECP, and I made it as Watson! this theater became my home, my escape and my family! I am blessed. and when they re-open I will be the first in line to Audition! But where does this take me now?! Back to Mount Vernon for the show "No sex please were British" then I am Attempting a life long dream for Little Theater off Broadways version of "The Music-man" and I am suiciding (only auditioning and only accepting) the Mayors Wife! so we will see were this Thespian ends up! I leave you know readers (okay more like reader) With a few of my favorite shots from the show.
Until Next time,

Angels in the snow

My first post:
Last night I was driving with my best friend Dave, yes in the snow. as it was falling we were discussing the usual things...Life, love, Happiness and Batman the Musical (don't ask). but as we were driving I had my new favorite musical on in the background. "The Story Of My Life" now this is always a surreal thing for me, but the whole show is about two best friends who have known each-other practically their whole lives and one of the friends writing the others eulogy, and yes this musical makes me cry every single time including last night. But there was this moment you see as we were driving (as slow as humanly possible) were we stopped talking and these lyrics came on

"THEN THE ANGEL SOULS WERE WIDE AWAKE  AND ALIVE ON EVERY SINGLE FLAKE. THEY WHIRLED ALL AROUND US AS WE STOOD LIKE STONE. THOUSANDS OF ANGELS WITH LIVES OF THEIR OWN. EACH ONE WITH A SEPARATE STORY JOINING IN ONE BURST OF GLORY. BUT THEN THE SNOWFLAKES SCATTERED AND THEY FLEW AND OUR ANGELS DID TOO."
And the only thing I could do was shed a tear, for here I was with my best friend sharing stories, Laughing, talking about love and pain and life. and always knowing that someday this will end, not the friendship perse' but our lives separating in some sort of Chaos whether we lost loved ones, or moved. someday this will all end. No this is not a sad post really it is more...eye opening and makes you want to be in the moment for longer. and enjoy what gift you have been given and I have been the gift of eternal friendship with Dave, and Kathy and Kristina! this is going to be my stories for you to read
Thank you.
